Data Transfer Process: This graphic shows a proposed process used for a school event kiosk. Photos are taken, customized, and sent to visitors via email. The department is then able to capture name and email addresses for further contact. It accompanies a proposal for an engagement kiosk at a school open house. The image was used in a presentation.
Industry Trend Analysis: Chart designed to show top auto manufacturers and the decline of Toyota total revenues as a percentage of the market.
Visualization Experiment: Toroid shape used to allow plotting of two related characteristics of various works of art. Shape reflects nature of data such as colors that has a looping RYB color wheel and a second continuous characteristic of emotion (stressed, joyful, or angry). Theoretical plotting method; no real data used.
Population Study: Chart designed to show growth of the U.S. population and breakdown by state. The graphic was included in a business proposal that focused on a language learning program. The chart shows the number and breakdown of both individuals who do not speak English at home as well as the specific percentages of those who speak Spanish by state. The graphic introduced discussions about target locations for early program development.
